Presentation instructions

Presentation instructions depend on whether the author is presenting in person or virtually.

In-person participants

Accepted papers have been classified into full papers, short papers, and posters.

Full papers

Full papers presented on-site are allocated 25 minutes, including Q&A. We suggest that the presentation of your slides takes about 20 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for an introduction by the session chair and questions from the audience. For preparing the presentation, you may use the official PowerPoint slides of HEAd’22, which are available here.

Please upload your presentation file to the computer in the session room before the session starts. Note that the presentation computer has only USB ports; there is no CD-ROM or other disc drive.

Short papers

Short papers presented on-site are allocated 15 minutes, including Q&A. We suggest that the presentation of your slides takes about 10 minutes, leaving 5 minutes for an introduction by the session chair and questions from the audience. For preparing the presentation, you may use the official PowerPoint slides of HEAd’22, which are available here.

Posters

There will be a number of posters presented during the conference, exhibited at the poster session. In order to make these sessions run smoothly, please make sure your poster is put up before the start of the session and removed after it has ended. The recommended format is A0.

Your poster will be attached to the panel with push pins, which will already be available on the panel. After you have removed your poster, please leave pins on the board.

Virtual participants

Virtual paper presentations are scheduled in virtual rooms. Each session which will include 4-7 paper presentations. For preparing the presentation, you may use the official Power Point slides of HEAd’22, which are available here.

Full papers are allocated 20 minutes (15 min presentation + 5 min Q&A).
Short papers (and posters) are allocated 15 minutes (10 min presentation + 5 min Q&A).

Authors of posters should notice that they will be presented as if they were short papers.

Access to the virtual rooms (in Zoom) will be provided by June 10.
